Theia Immersive is a spin out company from the Connected Places Catapult, part of the UK's Catapult Programme. 


We have a common desire to make the world a better place for everyone. This is what drives and motivates us in everything we do. Usable and beautiful designs should not be limited to certain portions of society. 

By adopting an inclusive design approach, we want to help our clients to make products and services that are enjoyable for everyone. 

Key People

Michael has run his own design consultancy for over a decade as a member of the IET, working across the design industry. He is widely recognised as a leading authority in the field of 3D Design and Computer Generated Imagery (CGI), having lectured on these subjects at Universities across the UK. Michael has designed and developed world leading Simulation, Visualisation and design tools for use in Formula One Motorsport, Manufacturing, Transport, Retail, Automotive and Architectural Design industries.

Martin is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors.  With a background in industrial Design and Ergonomics, Martin has worked across in the Defence, Automotive and Transportation industries to develop human centred products and services that deliver high performance, are pleasurable and efficient.

Jamie is a Psychologist and Human Factors Specialist having worked in the Defence and Transportation industries for over 18 years.  He specialises in User Experience (UX) and Human Centred Design and is an experienced user workshop design facilitator.  Jamie will be leading our business development activities, forging new relationships with key partnerships and clients.

Kyle is a Games Developer and working with Virtual Reality and gaming engine technologies extensively since it re-emerged in 2013.  He has focused his professional development on Immersive Technologies, working with the Unity games engine, to create cutting edge solutions that are interactive, immersive and compelling.
